Shelly Knit Dress Pattern

The Shelly Knit Dress is an adorable spring/summer knit dress with a unique elastic front neckline and wider binding straps. This comfy style features a ruffled bottom and hits just above knee length. Back neckline is bound and slightly higher than front and allows for easily popping over the head. “A-line” shape fits cute without being too straight. Sizes 3-16 are included in this pattern.

Recommended Fabrics:  Please note this pattern is for knit fabrics only. At Patsy Aiken Designs, our knit fabrics of choice were always 100% cotton. However, blends will work also. Medium weight is recommended so that the style maintains its shape and has a nice drape. Interlocks, jersey, both printed and yarn-dyed stripes, with or without stretch, work well with this pattern. Additional yardage may be required to match stripes, or with print fabrics that have a one-way pattern. Prewash and dry fabrics before cutting.
